CTE robotics, coming in 2027

True Robotics CTE Kit

The True Robotics CTE Kit is our high school robot kit for grades 8 to 12, coming in 2027. Teams of two or three share one kit, with motors, servos, sensors, a camera, and FlexForge parts, and code it in blocks or Python.

Built for career and technical education

Our CTE Kit brings the hands-on approach of our K-8 robots to high school, with a focus on careers. Its first course, Medical Robotics, connects robotics to careers in biomedical engineering, prosthetics, rehabilitation engineering, surgical robotics, and lab automation engineering.

Blocks or Python

Students code the CTE Kit in True Robotics Playground, the same software our younger students use. Grades 8 and 9 usually code in blocks, and grades 10 to 12 can move to Python. Skills grow from loops and sensor readings to state machines and feedback control.

Questions about the CTE Kit

What is the True Robotics CTE Kit?

The True Robotics CTE Kit is our robot kit for high school career and technical education in grades 8 to 12, coming in 2027. It includes a controller, motors, servos, a gyro, a light sensor, a camera, an ultrasonic sensor, wheels, and FlexForge parts. Teams of two or three share one kit, and Medical Robotics is the first course built on it.

How much does the True Robotics CTE Kit cost?

We have not set pricing for the True Robotics CTE Kit yet, because the kit and its first course, Medical Robotics, are coming in 2027. Get in touch with our team to tell us about your high school program, and we will share pricing as soon as it is ready.

What software does the True Robotics CTE Kit use?

The True Robotics CTE Kit codes in True Robotics Playground, the same coding software our younger students use, with blocks or Python. Grades 8 and 9 usually start in blocks, and grades 10 to 12 can move to Python, so one tool grows with your students all the way through high school. The kit is coming in 2027.

What is the True Robotics Medical Robotics course?

Medical Robotics is our 45-lesson robotics course for grades 8 to 12, in development and coming in 2027. Your students learn how the human body works, then design, build, and program robots that help it: prosthetic arms, exoskeletons, rehabilitation robots, surgical grippers, and more. Every lesson pairs a life science focus with hands-on robotics, and teams of two or three share one True Robotics CTE Kit.

Bring the CTE Kit to your high school
