The National Alternative Education Association

Last week, we had the privilege of attending the National Alternative Education Association annual conference in Tampa, Florida, and it was truly magical. “Alternative education” is a broad umbrella term for any educational program or setting outside the traditional, mainstream classroom. The implications range from students with disabilities to social-emotional regulatory issues to gifted students; some students in alternative education programs just have parents who want them to try something different. The conference brought together people from across the country with a wide range of backgrounds to share unique insights on their approach to teaching. Our founder, Anthony Galgano, gave a fantastic speech addressing the ramifications of robotics and generative artificial intelligence. Above is a clip.
