Future Innovators Visit the True Robotics Warehouse

The True Robotics team was proud to welcome students from Saint John Paul II School for a day of learning, discovery, and hands-on STEM experiences.

Recently, the True Robotics team was honored to host a group of students from one of our partner schools, Saint John Paul II School, at our warehouse for a day of hands-on learning and exploration. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to learn directly from our founder and CEO about every aspect of the business. From career journeys and entrepreneurship to manufacturing processes and robotics, the day was filled with engagement, curiosity, and discovery. 

Learning the Story Behind True Robotics 


The day began with a presentation from True Robotics Founder and CEO Anthony Galgano. Students learned about the journey of building a business from the ground up, including the challenges, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way. Anthony shared his own career path and highlighted the many opportunities that an interest in STEM can open up.

The day began with a discussion on career exploration and entrepreneurship as students learned how True Robotics grew from an idea into a thriving educational technology company.

These firsthand experiences are incredibly valuable for middle school students as they begin to imagine what their futures might look like. Hearing directly from someone who has built a successful company helps students see that careers in technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, and manufacturing are within reach.

From the Boardroom to the Warehouse

After the presentation, it was time to head into the warehouse. This is where the students’ eyes really lit up. They were excited to see the technology and tools used to manufacture the True Robotics suite of educational robots.

Students explored our 3D printers, laser cutters, and inventory management systems while learning how each plays a critical role in bringing products from concept to classroom. They got a behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of manufacturing and learned how different materials, processes, and technologies are selected to create reliable, high-quality products.


Along the way, students also learned about workplace safety, quality standards, and the importance of organization in a manufacturing environment. Their curiosity was on full display as they asked thoughtful questions and eagerly sought to learn more about every part of the operation.

Hands-On Learning in Action

The next part of the experience was a clear favorite among the students. It was time to roll up their sleeves and get to work.


Students were divided into small groups and paired with members of our warehouse team to help fulfill an outgoing order of Treads robots. Each team was tasked with building two robots from start to finish, giving students a true hands-on experience with the manufacturing process.


They participated in every step of the workflow, from gathering materials and organizing components to wiring electronics and assembling the final robot. Once their builds were complete, students conducted quality control tests to ensure their robots were assembled correctly and functioning properly before shipment.

Focused and determined, students took ownership of the build process as they assembled robot parts and discovered the precision required in robotics manufacturing.

The energy in the room was contagious as teams raced to be the first to finish. Even more exciting was seeing students immediately begin brainstorming ways to improve the process and asking questions about how the robots worked. Their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork were on full display.


This hands-on experience gave students a deeper understanding of robotics while also helping them develop valuable skills such as collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. More importantly, it showed them what it feels like to contribute to a real-world project and see the direct impact of their work.

At True Robotics, our mission has always been to inspire students to get involved in STEM. Opportunities like this allow us to bring that mission to life and help students discover new interests, talents, and possibilities for their future.

More Than a Field Trip 

The day concluded with lunch and reflection as students shared their favorite parts of the experience, discussed what they were excited to tell their families and classmates, and talked about the possibilities they could see for themselves in the future.


Partnerships like this mean the world to us at True Robotics. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing students engage with new ideas, gain confidence through hands-on learning, and begin to envision themselves as future innovators.

One screw at a time, students transformed a collection of parts into a working robot. Activities like this gave them the opportunity to move beyond observation and become active participants in the manufacturing process.

We would like to thank the students, teachers, and staff at Saint John Paul II for spending the day with us and allowing us to play a small role in their educational journey. We are grateful for the opportunity and excited to see what the future holds for these students.

Who knows? We may have met a few future engineers, entrepreneurs, and robotics innovators along the way.
