Getting Kids Excited About Robotics from Day One: Anthony Galgano on Over Coffee

True Robotics Founder and President Anthony Galgano recently joined the Over Coffee podcast to talk about one of his biggest passions: exposing kids to robotics early and keeping them learning while having fun.

“It’s all about the exposure,” Anthony explains. “If kids aren’t exposed to things at a young age, they won’t have any interest in exploring it later in life.” That philosophy drives True Robotics’ mission to inspire students from kindergarten through middle school with three progressive robotics packages:

  • Treads (K–3): Introduces young learners to how robots work, fostering curiosity and problem-solving through hands-on play.

  • Pilot (3–5): Builds STEM and computer science skills as students assemble and program robots.

  • Axle (6–8): Connects students with real-world robotics applications, engineering design, and more advanced coding challenges.

Anthony also shared how True Robotics removes barriers for teachers who might feel “tech-intimidated.” With professional development, ready-to-use curricula, and ongoing support, educators can confidently bring robotics into the classroom—no technical background required.

With a goal of inspiring 35,000 students by 2025, True Robotics has already reached 29,000 students, trained 355 instructors, and delivered 2,700 robots. Anthony also gave a peek at upcoming robotics products and shared some of the coolest things he’s learned in the past year.
